Do my guests need to buy tickets through a third party?
No. Front Door isn’t a payments platform — it’s a guest list and door management tool. Hosts add guests directly (by name, in tiers), and each guest gets a free ticket code and QR page. There’s no checkout, no fees, and no third-party ticket marketplace involved.
How does the door crew scan tickets without a host account?
The host shares a 4-digit door PIN with staff. Anyone with the PIN can open the scanner page on their own phone — camera QR scanning or manual code entry — without ever seeing the host dashboard or being able to edit the event.
What is the watchlist feature?
Hosts can flag a name once, with an optional reason. If door staff ever scan a ticket matching that name, the scanner shows an unmissable on-screen alert — useful for banned guests, no-shows who caused problems before, or anyone the host wants staff to know about.
Can Front Door track how many people are actually inside right now?
Yes. Every admit and exit scan updates a live occupancy count against the venue’s stated capacity, so hosts and door staff always know the real headcount — not just how many tickets were ever scanned.
